The team of Operation Snatch Back is dedicated to doing God’s work in the lives of individuals who are at-risk and need someone who can speak into their lives the saving hope of a new life, apart from their past, and looking into the future. Meet some of them here.
What road will you take?
If you don’t know where you are going, then any road will take you there. When you identify your destination, then there are only certain roads that you can take. Operation Snatch Back will point you towards your destination and help you discover those certain roads. #OSB #OperationSnatchback
When problem solving, always look past the surface and identify the core issue. The surface will only identify a small percentage of the problem. Operation Snatch Back doesn’t look at the desktop, we look at the hard drive!
Growth thru Collaboration
We grow through people and knowledge. So let us associate ourselves with people from whom we can learn. Let us also surround ourselves with stimuli; searching for new information that will help us grow and reach our maximum potential!
Life pays an exact wage. What you give to life, life will give back to you. What you withhold from life, life will withhold from you.

Exceed The Standard
To improve the quality of an entire community, the mindset of that community must be changed. That change starts with our youth. We, as adults, can no longer sear into the minds of our youth that achieving the status quo is sufficient. Conversely, they should be taught to always
“Exceed The Standard!”

Sometimes, when all is deemed lost, someone comes along, at just the right time, to speak the right words, to help make the right impact for a bright future. We love to play that role.
We help young adults and teens start and remain on the path to rewarding futures. We speak into the lives of these souls the words they need to hear in order to believe they can do anything.
We are available to speak to groups of any type – schools, churches, court programs, organizations, and public places as well. Use the contact form on this site to connect with us and for more information.
We love to meet people who are looking for someone to talk to. We listen. We listen again. Then we listen some more. Finally, we gently lead them to places they’ve never been before. We earn trust, one kid at a time.
Dennis Thomas is an Accountant in Decatur Georgia, and a graduate from Georgia State University. He grew up in a single family home with a brother and sister, and knows the struggles and challenges to keep children on the right path and respectful in the community. After completing High School,he worked in manufacturing before joining the Air force for better opportunities. His professional career covers a broad spectrum in the U.S. Air Force, Local Government, Home Mortgage Financing, Public Accounting, Retail, and now Healthcare. He enjoys working with people and engaging them to look beyond the present, with purpose and a vision to help better their lives as well as others in the community. He is active in his Church as a speaker and council member. He is married and has two children.
Stanford Sullen was raised in the inner city of New Orleans. At a very young age, he found himself on the “other side of the tracks”…making bad choices, hanging out with the wrong people, and frequenting the wrong places. He enjoyed the fast life which eventually took him down the road of self-destruction. He was no exception to the rule, he experienced much of what every drug addict experiences…unemployment, homelessness, broken relationships, depression, pain, and incarceration.
After losing everything, including his family/friends, job, and home, he finally hit “rock bottom”. With no one else to turn to and after 25+ years of living as an addict, Stanford surrender to God’s will. He voluntarily admitted himself into The Extension, a licensed, long-term residential recovery program. While there, he learned to embrace spiritual principles, to live life and become responsible and accountable and to change his attitude, behaviors and actions.
Stanford believes his experiences as an addict and his recovery process is a testimony that must be shared with others struggling with the disease of addiction. He is an active member of the Extension Alumni Association through which he serves as a sponsor to and conduct weekly house meeting for other Extension residents. By example, it is Stanford’s desire to convey to the residents that it is possible for former addicts to live productive, drug free lives. Through his affiliation with the George W. Hartmann Center, Stanford devotes several hours a week mentoring adolescents (ages 13-17) who struggle with substance abuse. He also serves as a mentor for Operation Snatch Back which affords him the opportunity to deposit hope into the lives of those that are a part of the organization’s affiliates.
Stanford recognizes that he could not have turned his life around on his own and that to do so required much work on his part. He hopes that his testimony will have an impact on at least one other person to turn his/her life around and live happy, joyous, and free.
Ron Green grew up in a small, economically depressed city just outside of Chicago. He is the product of a single-parent home and the housing projects. His loving mother worked long hours to make ends meet for her six kids. Ron was the middle child and oldest boy. During these times of parental absence, he became very involved in the community but, not in a favorable way. In other words, he began to let the streets raise him.
Examples of his “community involvement” included under-age drinking, drug usage, violence, and gang-affiliation. These choices led to a decline of Ron’s moral fibers. As a result, there were multiple incarcerations, sporadic changes in residency with horrible living conditions, drug addiction, alcoholism, and even homelessness. This occurred over a period of 25 years! In essence, he was 25-years-a slave of these economic woes.
When Ron’s pain became seemingly unbearable, he understood that there had to be a shift in mentality in order to soar from these dismal conditions and make progress towards a better future. He sought the assistance of a well-known rehab facility known as the Extension, for a period of one year. During this time, Ron received that shift in mentality that he so desperately needed. He began to live by a new set of principles, some of which included integrity, faith, perseverance, courage, willingness, and humility.
The most important principle that Ron gained at the Extension was that it is not about him, but, rather how he can help others. Today, Ron uses the pain of his past experiences to impact, inspire, empower, and ultimately restore others who may have fallen into similar pitfalls. He currently mentors teen-age boys at a rehab treatment center and is seeing a shift in mentality in some of the teens. He has spearheaded an initiative called Operation Snatch Back targeting young men who have been snatched from an endless possibility of potential into a world of darkness. His goal, aim, and purpose is to redirect, empower, and restore men to crime-free, productive, and successful citizens!
